A blog on AI for the user perspective
Hi, I’m Michael – AI enthusiast and co-founder of NISAR. I’ve been in robotics research, lectured on biologically motivated AI, and spent the last few years in the automotive industry doing R&D for sensors and driver assistance systems.
We have celebrated several major breakthroughs in recent months. And this is just the beginning. I’ve read a lot of articles about Open AI GPT, Google BARD and so on. There are many extremely good and comprehensive technical articles for the professional audience – and at the same time many questions and rumours on the user perspective.
Here I would like to fill a gap: I’ll try to explain GPT and other Models from the perspective of a user who doesn’t need to understand all the technology – but who still wants to understand how and why.
Disclaimer: The focus is accordingly on comprehensibility, not on completeness and absolute correctness – you will have to tolerate numerous simplifications.
